Business Continuity Assessment
A two-day on-site review that maps your critical tasks, documents supplier contacts, and produces a written continuity binder for your staff.
Who This Is For
Shop owners and workshop operators who depend on personal knowledge, a small team, or family members to keep daily operations running. If a key person were unavailable for a week, you need a clear plan — not improvisation.
What Is Included
- Half-day observation of your daily routines, opening procedures, and closing checklist
- Interviews with you and up to three staff or family members who handle critical tasks
- Supplier and vendor contact sheet with delivery schedules and backup options
- Written continuity binder covering: cash handling, inventory reorder points, equipment shutdown, and customer communication templates
- One follow-up phone call within 30 days to answer questions after your team reviews the binder
What Is Not Included
- Legal contract drafting or insurance policy review (we refer you to licensed professionals)
- IT systems backup or cybersecurity assessment
- Ongoing monthly retainer (available as a separate engagement)
How It Works
Week 1 — Discovery: We schedule a site visit at your convenience, typically during a normal operating day. You provide access to storage areas, supplier invoices, and any existing procedure notes.
Week 2 — Delivery: We return for a shorter session to walk through the draft binder with your team. Revisions based on your feedback are included once.
Preparation
Gather recent supplier invoices, a list of staff responsibilities, and any handwritten notes you currently rely on. No special software is required.
